Kyle cochran

Owner-Founder, Designer, Fabricator

Kyle was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY where he attended Western Kentucky University and studied architecture and civil engineering.  He spent most of his time during college working in the road construction industry as a surveyor and designer of many roadway projects.  After nearly 9 years in that business, Kyle ventured out on his own to develop his creative talents and search for a career doing what he loved the most.  Kyle developed Rustic Nail & Co. in late 2012 starting in a 15’X20’ shop behind his parents home.  The past four years has found Kyle’s work in homes featured in the Parade of Homes, Starbucks, local coffee shops, various commercial buildings, high end homes, as well as various restaurants in the southeast.  Kyle has learned from a very early age to work hard, set goals, and achieve them to the best of his ability. In his free time, Kyle is busy being a husband and father to his wife and two daughters.  With any additional time, Kyle is busy building hot rods of which his latest is a 1972 Cuda.  He is excited for what the future brings as Rustic Nail & Co. continues to grow and achieve many levels of craftsmanship and design in the industry.  His business is based on quality, honesty, integrity and providing clients a unique product that will last for generations.  Working with various clients has allowed Kyle to develop working relationships with so many great people.

“Its not the fame and fortune I strive for, but the ability to create and share the talents I’ve been blessed with"

Aaron wilson

Digital Design Specialist

Aaron is originally from the Midwest and a graduate of the Interior Design program at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.  Before going back to school in 2014 he had a previous career in Information Technology.

At Rustic Nail & Co. Aaron has found a way to combine his computer experience with his love of design and the built environment.  He handles the digital side of things including the development of drawings and documents to capture design intent, the design of custom furniture and built-ins and generation of shop drawings for the craftsmen and trades, and the programming and execution of the CNC machines - all this to create objects and spaces.

Aaron says the best part of his job is "There's no such thing as boring around here.  We continue to learn and grow and parlay our experience into bigger and better projects.  My favorite project is always the one we're about to start."
